Terms of use

The Lab is a technical knowledge and community resource. Machine records, model configurations, recipes and deployment records are provided for information. Specifications and prices are snapshots of linked supplier pages on the review date shown; confirm current offers, availability and support with the seller before buying. Nothing on the Lab is an offer to sell hardware, a performance guarantee or professional advice.

The Lab does not sell hardware, take payments or provide live inference. Hardware evaluation requests are reviewed by the Understand Tech team and are not reservations. Understand Tech’s commercial software and support are governed by their own agreements; the Lab is usable without any purchase.

Understand Tech’s general terms and conditions apply to the Lab where this page is silent.

Contribution terms

By submitting a contribution (a comment, deployment report, setup, correction, image or link) you confirm that you have the right to publish it and that it contains no confidential customer data, credentials, private datasets or proprietary code you are not permitted to share.

You keep ownership of your contribution. You grant Understand Tech a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display, edit for clarity and archive it on the Lab, with your chosen display name and affiliation shown as the author. You may state a reuse licence for artifacts you share; where none is stated, other readers may cite and link to your contribution but not republish it wholesale.

Contributions are reviewed before publication. Publication does not make a result Understand Tech-verified; evidence labels are explained in the evidence and editorial policy. The team may decline, edit or remove contributions that are inaccurate, unsafe, unlawful, promotional without disclosure or in breach of these terms. Supplier relationships and sponsored work must be disclosed and never influence technical rankings.

Your data

What the Lab stores, what is public and how to export or delete your information is explained on Your data and privacy. Understand Tech’s privacy policy applies to the Lab. Privacy requests go to support@understand.tech.

Trademarks and images

Organization logos and product images identify the organizations and machines discussed. Their inclusion does not imply partnership, sponsorship or endorsement. Arduino® is a trademark of Arduino S.r.l. NVIDIA, AMD, Apple, Qualcomm and manufacturer names are trademarks of their respective owners. Image sources are listed in the machine records; rights holders may request removal at support@understand.tech.

Liability

Understand Tech takes reasonable care to keep the Lab accurate but does not warrant that any record is complete or current. Deployment decisions remain your responsibility. To the extent permitted by law, Understand Tech is not liable for loss arising from reliance on Lab content or from contributions published by third parties.
